With today's market conditions, where can you find a better place to show and market your horses?

There will be a tour of International Visitors, Media, and Invited Guests!

Today's agricultural markets are no longer impacted by small, local factors but by economic, political and social events happening around the world. The resulting global markets have significantly increased networking and revenue potential for international buyers and sellers. At the Western Canada Farm Progress Show it's "where the world of agriculture comes together".

The Western Canada Farm Progress Show is the largest dryland farm technology show in the country, attracting more than 700 exhibitors and 40,000 qualified attendees from 30 countries. Over its 30 plus year history, the event has earned the right to be called "Canada's National Farm Show" and has continued to remain relevant to the industry it serves. Just what is the show's formula for success? It's based on the similar premise that those involved in the industry also follow. In agriculture, change is constant. A producer's willingness to accept and incorporate change is what keeps his operation viable on a go-forward basis.

The same can be said about the Farm Progress Show. While core standards like attracting qualified buyers and sellers and delivering exceptional products and services to attendees have not changed, the show's ongoing success can be attributed to its ability to respond to social and economic shifts, developing issues and technological advancements within the very industry that it serves. Event organizers are already looking ahead at this year's show and are excited about the additions and modifications that they believe will make the event that much better for sponsors, exhibitors, attendees and the public.

What also makes the Farm Show successful is its willingness to recognize that when things are working, they're best left alone. (Similar to that well-known saying: "if it isn't broken, it doesn't need fixing".) Event organizers believe different people attend the Farm Show for different reasons. Giving them something to look forward to or participate in has proven to be not only popular but also savvy and profitable as well. With that in mind, many components are returning due to their popularity and high demand from attendees.

With a mix of old and new, local and international, it's easy to see why the Western Canada Farm Progress Show has not only remained relevant and viable but has also earned the right to be called "Canada's National Farm Show."
